Monday 8/11/08 – 229.5 lbs – 20.5 lbs To Goal

As I said in my last post I’m going to use this blog as a diet diary and a tracking method to keep track of what I’m eating.  I’m playing with the format of the posts a bit, but I think I’ll do something like this.

BREAKFAST:

  • nothing

Never have been a big breakfast fan… except of course when I hit McDonald’s on the way to work which is in the past.

LUNCH:

  • rice & chicken dish from local Indian restaurant
  • piece of flat bread
  • diet Coke

Had lunch with a buddy of mine here in Cleveland… I’m not a huge Indian food guy, but this was actually pretty damn good. Didn’t even think about the fact that I’d ordered a Coke until after I’d sat down at the table… dammit.

DINNER:

  • clear Thai noodles
  • pasta with veggies
  • salad (fried chicken)
  • a couple french fries
  • water

Tonight was leftover night!  While it looks like I had a ton to eat for dinner it was a little bit of this, a little bit of that.   I did have a tad bit of heartburn after/during dinner but having so many different foods I can’t be sure exactly what set it off.

SNACKS:

  • Diet Pepsi x 2
  • handful of peanuts
  • piece of ice cream cake (Dairy Queen)

Nothing on the way home from work which I really wanted… other than the ice cream cake which is still leftover from our birthdays I did good on the snacking front.

WORKOUT:

  • no exercise to speak of, but I did cut the grass this evening
