264 – New Year, New Me?

I don’t do New Year’s Resolutions. I don’t do them because, in my opinion, they don’t work. People don’t stick to them and by the time you get to February people are done with them.

Well, as chronicled here for years now, I need to lose weight. The older I get, the more important it becomes and my failure are weighing on me like never before.

It’s time. No, it’s beyond time to make some real progress on this front. I’m 47 years old and this morning I weight in at 264. Yesterday (New Year’s Day) I weight 266.6. This shit just has to stop.

Here’s the thing… I know the path I need to take. Low carb (or preferably carnivore) and alcohol free. I won’t ‘resolve’ to do it, cause I know I won’t do it 100%. But I’ve got to.

I need to make changes to my body, and in order to make those changes, I need to change what I put into my body.
