It’s been a while… a long while actually since I’ve done any sort of blogging here. If you’re a long time follower of my stuff you’ll notice that I’ve got a new look / feel for the site this morning. I was going for something that’s super readable and accessible. Hopefully you like it. Yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday. Naturally, like most of America, I ate and drank way too much. I was talking with the wife about how I remember years back that I started a diet on the Monday after the Super Bowl and ended up losing about 25 lbs or so. This morning… it began.

But I digress. I need to lose weight. A lot of weight. Probably 70 pounds if I’m being honest. But I’ll start with 1 and then 2 and then hopefully a bunch more.
I know I drink too much. I know I eat too much garbage. I have to cut that out. I’ve got to SEVERELY limit my carbs and I’ve got to cut WAY back on my drinking. For that reason I’m restarting my ‘Behind the Bar’ series. Candidly, as I sit here on the 3rd of February, I’m not off to a great start as I’ve drank both nights of the month and will probably do so tonight.
But I’m off and running. I’m long of the belief that I HAVE to blog to make myself accountable. I have to see it written down. I have to make changes. 200 here I come. `
