Starting to see some progress slowly but surely. I’m on day 7 of my fast food quit and I’ve been eating “relatively” clean with a couple of exceptions:
- Didn’t have time for breakfast at home yesterday and I was so hungry I could eat a table leg by about 10:00. Went to Dunkin for my second cup of coffee and splurged on a bagel with cream cheese. Not nearly as good as Panera and I didn’t even ask to see if they had reduced fat cream cheese. Hit the spot but not great.
- We took the kids to Benihana last night for dinner to celebrate the beginning of a new school year and to celebrate me and Wife’s birthday. Not a terrible dinner I spose as I skipped the ice cream desert but the amount of butter they use is alone cause for concern (but damn is it good).
I can’t for the life of me remember why I though to call this post “Pizza Progress”. Guessing it was because we had a pizza the other night and this may have stunted my progress this month. All in all, I’m happy though. It’s the 19th of the month and I’m down 2.5 lbs. Only need to lose another pound in 10 days to hit my 3.33 / month goal.
Gotta stay vigilant!
