Got on the scale this morning and was quite frankly expecting to see a number at or lower than yesterday. Surprising (sadly) it was a half a pound higher. I’m guessing this is part of the reason why health experts say NOT to weigh yourself every day as let’s be honest… regardless of WHAT you eat, I don’t think it’d be possible to lose weight EVERY day.
I’m a little confused solely because I really didn’t cheat from a carb perspective yesterday. A hard-boiled egg for breakfast, salad for lunch, stopped for 2 burgers / 2 chicken patties on the way home from Burger King, 2 hot dogs (no bun) at a local picnic for son #1’s school and a piece of fish for dinner. I spose there were some “hidden” carbs in the chicken patties and fish, but I can honestly say I was surprised.
Had a bagel this AM while working but will stay away from the carbs for the rest of the day. Also I’ve opted out of the Brown’s game on Sunday which even if I have a couple of beers at home will be MUCH better.
I’m feeling good about my direction.
