So I didn’t get a chance to write this post before midnight, so technically I’m writing this on Thursday, but this is Wednesday’s post. Good eating day. Green smoothie for breakfast on the way to work. Skipped McDonald’s on the way in which is always a good thing. There was a HUGE line this AM which is quite frankly probably why I didn’t pull in. However, in this fight, at this time, I’ll take better lucky than good.
Had some pistachios, tomatoes, string cheese and a wrap throughout the day. This was supposed to be lunch, but I was so hungry in the AM I ate most of it before 10:30. Had a salad for lunch and I drank a TON of water during the day.
I’ve been listening to The Skinny Rules by that dude Bob from The Biggest Loser. His number one rule it to drink a lot of water so that’s what I’m doing. I typically drink quite a bit of water during the day anyhow, but based on this CD I put a new rule into place: Every time I get a cup of coffee, I will now always get a cup of water as well. I had 3 cups of coffee today, so that adds 3 more cups of water. WIN.
I did have a couple of “blips” today. Stopped on the way home at Wendy’s for 3 burgers (no bun) and a Diet Coke. Gotta cut this out as well. We had pesto pizza for dinner. Hoping that the scale will be kind tomorrow morning.
