275.5 – What Did I Expect?

Started the day with the worst, the WORST number I’ve ever seen on the scale. Now, in my 47th year, I’m now officially larger than I’ve ever been. Talk about a disappointing visual to start my Monday. But what did I expect really?

Saturday I was at a basketball tournament all day… went to Scott’s at 11:30 PM to watch UFC 300. Drank a few beers and had some food (he had an amazing spread as he always does for UFC events).

Sunday… started out the day with a trip to Sam’s Club to get some snacks and stuff for a birthday party we were supposed to have. Stopped at McDonald’s for three sausage McMuffins and two hash browns. Dumb ass.

Watched basketball all day and then finished our evening at El Chile Bravo… three big beers and two shots later, on top of three steak tacos with flour tortillas, chips and salsa and chorizo cheese sauce and I ask again… What did I expect?

Well today’s a new day. ZERO carbs today. For lunch I had blackened chicken. Stopped on the way home from work and had two junior bacon cheeseburgers (no bun) from Wendy’s. For dinner I had a piece of chicken Parmesan, a handful of peanuts and a slice of cheese. ZERO alcohol.

This has to be the way for quite some time. I can’t keep going on the path I’m on. I asked in my last post, “When will it click?” Well, I think maybe it clicked. All it took was seeing 275.5 on the scale.
