Wow. Quite a bit has happened since the last time I blogged here. Needless to say I’ve got some explaining to do and quite a bit of catch up to bring the site current. I haven’t done a non-alcohol post since March 15th. On that day I weighed in at 237.5 and today I’m 241.5. Being up four pounds sucks but I’m actually DOWN four pounds from where I was.
We went on a family cruise. This naturally led to some weight gain as all vacations where you can eat and drink nearly 24 hours a day tend to do. And while I drank every day on that cruise, I didn’t drink a lot. Maybe two drinks each day which on a cruise is saying something.
I haven’t updated my April drinking log since the 2nd of the month. That will be fixed after I finish up here.
It’s May 4th and I haven’t created my May post yet. That will be fixed after I fix April’s drinking log.
I’m at a point in my life where just about everything is in flux. I’ve been feeling very down about quite a few things, even though when I take a step back things aren’t really that bad. That being said, I can’t help but feel depressed much of the time. Tackling, and winning the weight loss battle, will be a great step in the right direction.
