I’ve been weighing myself every morning since I re-started this weight loss journey. This AM was 233.5 which was LOWER than yesterday’s number of 234. I need to keep reminding myself a couple of things:
- The numbers aren’t ALWAYS going to go down.
- A lower number is better than a higher number.
- This is not a sprint, but a marathon.
- One bad choice should not be compounded by another bad choice.
I’m sort of bummed that a couple of bad days (on Saturday and Sunday) essentially undid all the good work I did during the week. So I’m left with working THIS week to get back to where I was LAST week. It makes for some difficult days but checking in and looking at this on a regular / daily basis is keeping me on track and keeping me on top of what I’m eating and drinking.
I’ve been thinking about this for some time and I’m not really sure its even possible, but I’d REALLY love to be 220 by the time we move into our new house in December. I’d even take 225 and be happy with it. That’s roughy 10 lbs in 3 months. Definitely doable I think…
